What Can Your Eye Reveal About Your Health?

What Can Your Eyes Reveal About Your Health?

The simple answer is more than you could imagine! One of the most amazing things about iridology is that genetic predispositions may be seen long before they occur. Each iris has approximately 28,000 nerves that connect to all parts of the body. Similar to foot reflexology, the iris reflects strengths and deficiencies of the bodily organs. The iris is very much like a tiny hologram of the entire body.

There are four basic constitution types according to iridology. Your eye may be categorized into any of these constitutions or a combination of them. Constitutional characteristics and potential tendencies are the same regardless of eye color.

The Four Basic Constitutional Types are:

  1. Neurogenic
  2. Anxiety Tetanic
  3. Polyglandular
  4. Connective Tissue

Study of the Eyes Neurogenic Iiris Subtype

Neurogenic Iris Subtype

Iris Characteristics: Tightly woven iris fibers that appear like fine silk. There may be a slight separation of fibers in some areas (rarefications).

Potential Tendencies:

  • Hard worker, strong drive, industrious, diligent, they work ‘till they drop
  •  Strong ability to resist disease, heal easily
  • Weakness in central and autonomic nervous system, they are often intense people
  • Very sensitive, may have headaches, nervous system disorders, skin eruptions due to affliction of the nervous system

Personality Type of the Neurogenic

After questioning thousands of people with this pattern, iridologists have found that these people are very sensitive and intuitive. They are kinesthetic in nature and need to hug and be hugged. They have difficulty sitting for very long periods of time and need to exercise or they won’t feel well. These genetically strong people are always on the go, often pushing themselves to the brink. Their lesson in life is to pace themselves and take time for quiet contemplation and meditation. If they will do this, it will fortify their highly sensitive nervous systems and they will use their gifts and talents more efficiently without exhaustion.

Anxiety Tetanic Iris Subtype

Iris Characteristics: Circular arcs or portions of arcs are spread throughout the iris. These are caused by a buckling of the fibers due to prolonged excessive stress and can be seen in any color iris.

Potential Tendencies:

  • Tendency to neuromuscular cramping, tense muscles, jaw clenching
  • Tension may aggravate colitis, tachycardia, angina pectoris, circulatory disorders, spinal subluxation, temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, blood sugar metabolism errors
  • Tend to create lots of stress, feel victimized by stress. Inclined to “Type A” behavior. Often highly diversified, motivated, ambitious. They have many things going on at once. They feel they are under a great deal of tension in life – usually of psychosomatic origin.
  • Possible headaches, heart stress, thyroid deficiency, muscle tension

Personality Type of the Anxiety Tetanic

These people tend to be anxious, with lots of “irons in the fire” and lots of projects to accomplish. They tend to multi-task more than any other type often driving through a drive-in for food while talking on the phone or eating while driving. Their nervous systems and adrenal glands are pushed to the limit. They hardly take time to relax or even sit down while eating. These people are major accomplishers and achievers.

polyglandular-iris-subtype

Polyglandular Iris Subtype

Iris Characteristics: Openings positioned in a “daisy petal” or geometric pattern around the collarette.

Potential Tendencies:

  • Deficiencies and weakness in glandular system overall
  • Weakness in the gastrointestinal system and irregularity of the bowels
  • These people usually crave sweets and have a tendency to be hypoglycemic.

Personality Type of the Polyglandular

After questioning thousands of people with this iris pattern, iridologists have come to the conclusion that these people tend to be very creative. If they are allowed to be creative, they will feel very fulfilled in life. If they have been blocked creatively, they will feel lost and empty inside. The iridologist should encourage them to find what they love to do and express it creatively. If they do not express, they may become depressed. This will have a greater affect on the glandular system.

connective-tissue-iris-subtype

Connective Tissue Iris Subtype

Iris Characteristics: Very loose, widened iris fibers with many openings.

Potential Tendencies:

  • Weakness in elasticity of connective tissue
  • Varicosities, hemorrhoids, hernias, spinal disorders, subluxations, scoliosis, sway back
  • Postural difficulties, injures easily
  • Minerals don’t hold well, especially calcium
  • Requirements include moderate to greater recuperation times after strenuous activity

Personality Type of the Connective Tissue –

(same as Polyglandular)

After questioning thousands of people with this iris pattern, iridologists have come to the conclusion that these people tend to be very creative. If they are allowed to be creative, they will feel very fulfilled in life. If they have been blocked creatively, they will feel lost and empty inside. The iridologist should encourage them to find what they love to do and express it creatively. If they do not express, they may become depressed. This will have a greater affect on the glandular system.
